After getting in at 10pm on Saturday I had a message asking if I wanted to go dragon boating on Sunday, I decided to give it a go rowing in a team of accountants via a friend of a friend. It was quite a corporate affair (Bloomin accountants eh Sparkes!) with dry fit t-shirts, caps, food and beer!
It was a lovely if exhausting day of frenzied rowing from 8am until about 2:30pm. We had some good finishes 2x1st 2x2nd and a 3rd, cheered on by Beth and Alfie! Unfortunately one of the seconds came in our final so no trophy. Still its all about the taking part yeah?
