The good news is that Alfie is feeling much better and today we felt as if we got our smiling, affectionate little boy that we know and love back. He's really not been himself for about five weeks. His course of penicillin seems to be doing the trick and we've had a fantastic family weekend together.
We've had some really nice cuddles, watched Alfie start thinking about crawling to get to stuff he wants, polish off his milk for the first time in a while and see him get to undisturbed sleep.
