Today took us back to the John Hunter Hospital, the site of Alfie's heroics just three short months ago. Our appointments are all part of the care he received at the time and a way of checking that he continues to develop the way he should, and do some interventions if he doesn't.
The great news is that he continues to impress the doctors who are delighted with his amazing progress. His weight, growth are all coming along nicely, they even suggested that he's quite advanced for his age which is amazing considering his ordeal. He had a good chat and exchanged some smiles with the doctor. When asked if could roll over we proudly announced that he has done the back to front roll three times... "What about front to back?" enquired the doctor... "Oh no not yet" we replied.... cue Alfie's first front to back roll complete with broad grin! In Homer Simpson style "Why you little....." :0)
