... if you're Australian you have no idea who Norris McWurter is - It appears neither do Beth and Mum!!! Maybe its just me! - he was the guy that Roy Castle would bring on after world record attempts on Record Breakers. Does anyone else remember him?
Anyway back to the reason for the post! Alfie has set a new record for sleep getting through 11 hours of shut eye. He went to bed at 6:30pm Saturday and woke at 5:30pm on Sunday morning... this was followed by a feed and thirty minutes of Alfie staring at Beth through the darkness and two more hours of sleep.
Again our delight is somewhat measured as the experiences of our birth class partners who are a month or two further on suggest that a full nights sleep will be a temporary treat!

"You're a record breaker..." ! Can hear the theme tune now! Have very clear memories of Norris McWurter and tap-dancing / trumpet playing Roy Castle... What a great programme that was - Harry would love it now, as he's always got his head stuck in the Guinness Book of Records!
Anyway, keep it up Alfie... and please tell Lucy that it is not acceptable to start waking up 4 or 5 times each night when you are now 3 years old (and have been a pretty good sleeper for a while now)!!!

We're not shy ...... Neil and I remember Norris and his brother Ross. Ross was the quieter of the two and Neil says died tragically, but he can't remember what of! Probably trying to break a record!!! I think you'll find Norris co-founded record breakers - now we're showing how nerdy we can be in Devon. I just used to love him stood with his clipboard looking unimpressed when someone who had just downed 100 hotdogs in 60 sec and were desperately trying not to throw up on TV then that vinyl record graphic would come across the screen then smash if the record had been broken. Happy days!!! Must admit Oz got the guiness book of records for christmas and I am always sneaking a look - it's fab. Love The Parkers
lovvvl... loved it when the yanks set up a whole sports hall of dominoes that fell perfectly during the night when a cockroach set them tumblin!!!
