THOUSANDS of people basked in the sunshine as Plymouth enjoyed its warmest weekend of the year so far. Temperatures soared to 18C in some spots, inspiring hundreds to take to the sun-drenched Hoe and Barbican with picnics and ice creams. Many more got out on the sea, as watersports enthusiasts took full advantage of the warm weather.

Yes! lucky us! 30 degrees in March 10
and now 18 degrees in April 10! and! during the school Easter holidays as well! - very unusual! xx
