Clean up continues...

The clean up continues after the storm, the power was restored to our neighbours house today by electrical workers who have been drafted in from the country. Pictured is the small tree that we cut down (or should that be whats left of it!) while it sounds like whats left of the big tree outside could be there for up to two months such is the amount of cleaning up that the council needs to do.

We're all fine and enjoying spending some relaxed and warm time in the house, parcels continue to arrive, mainly for Alfie although we did receive one food parcel containing humanitarian aid - Marmite and Walkers Sensations Chilli Crisps! Thanx Hels xx

Dear All, I noticed you had a food parcel on your blog and saw you had a jar of the black stuff (Dave and I are from the town that makes it) and you can buy it at Coles, Market Town. I personally can't stand the stuff, but as you do, it's closer than you think! Looking forward to meeting Alfie on Friday. Marianne xxx

I love the stuff, thanks for the tip off because this jar won't last long!

Hope you guys are well?
